Celebrating Our Quality Advisors

This Coproduction Week, Community Integrated Care are proud to celebrate the people who help bring co-production to life across our charity every day – Our Quality Advisors.

A team of our Quality Advisors stand in an open office space all smiling to camera and holding up various posters with different signs on them.Over the past 12 months, we’ve welcomed a number of new colleagues to the team – each playing a vital role in shaping, influencing and improving the support we provide as we continue working towards delivering the Best Lives Possible.

Our Quality Advisors are central to how we champion co-production. As experts by experience – people who have either received, or are currently receiving, support from our charity – they bring invaluable insight into what great support truly looks and feels like. Their lived experience helps ensure that the voices of the people we support are not only heard but actively drive decision-making and continuous improvement across our organisation.

We’re delighted to have welcomed nine new Quality Advisors over the past twelve months: Andrew McGlashen, Chloe Felgate, Joss Ritchie, Sarah Bown, Shane Hepburn, Tauseef Iqbal, Tiahnna Richards, William Stapleton and Zoe Walsh. As people currently supported by our charity, they each bring a deep, personal understanding that enables them to make an immediate impact, strengthening our commitment to genuine partnership and co-production in everything we do.

Speaking of her new role, Joss said, “I wanted to become a Quality Advisor so that I could make a difference to other people’s lives. I’m looking forward to carrying out quality audits and continuing working on making things more accessible through advising on easy reads.”

Zoe reiterated this sentiment, “I’ve always had a strong passion for helping others, and I want to make a difference by sharing my own lived experience. My favourite part of my job is meeting other Quality Advisors and becoming friends, and I’m looking forward to meeting more new people and having a positive impact by sharing my own experiences.”

Jamie Potts, Quality Advisor of almost 12 years shared his thoughts, “It’s exciting to have new members of the Quality Advisor team. More people mean there’s more opinions and ideas.”

Carla Pipkin, Participation Specialist, said, “We’re thrilled to have welcomed so many new Quality Advisors to our charity, helping to expand our reach across our regions and ensuring that the voices of the people we support are heard. The group will play a crucial part in ensuring the people we support are at the very forefront of positive changes taking place across our charity.”

We’d like to wish a warm welcome to our new cohort of Quality Advisors and offer a big congratulations on their new role.
