Our CIO Joins Technology Roundtable

On Monday 23^rd March, Community Integrated Care’s Chief Information Officer, Gerard McGovern, joined social care leaders for a roundtable event at London’s Supreme Court on “Unlocking Technology’s Role in the Future of Care.”

Hosted by Care Talk Magazine, the event brought together sector experts to explore how innovation is reshaping social care, and how technology and digital solutions can support better outcomes both for people who draw on care and support, and those who provide it.

Chaired by Professor Martin Green OBE, Chief Executive of Care England, the roundtable created a valuable space for honest conversation, shared learning and collaboration.

Reflecting on the event, Gerard said, “It was a pleasure to be invited to speak at the roundtable and to spend time with so many passionate, forward‑thinking leaders who are genuinely committed to shaping the future of our social care sector. Discussions like this are essential in helping us understand what truly works in practice and how we can harness technology in a meaningful way to improve outcomes for the people we support, as well as empower our dedicated social care workforce.”
