An Award-Winning Month for Our Charity

We’re proud to celebrate nine prestigious award wins over the past month – honouring excellence in care and showcasing our impact as a leading social care provider.

Our teams shone at six regional Great British Care Awards across England and Scotland, taking home five awards, including:

• Housing with Care – West Midlands
• Care Innovator – Yorkshire
• Care Home Team -North West
• Putting People First – Scotland
• Care Innovator – Scotland

We also triumphed at the Neurological and Complex Care Awards in London, winning the coveted Outstanding Complex Care Provider accolade. Our Complex Care team in Worcestershire were recognised for their outstanding support facilitating a person called Beth to move to independent living. Previously, Beth had lived at a specialist placement in a hospital setting, but with the team’s support, she is now thriving in her very own home.  They have empowered Beth to live with renewed confidence, living a life that truly reflects her independence and identity.

That’s not all – our Peter Pan pantomime was crowned ‘Event of the Year’ at the 2025 Celebrate Aberdeen Awards. This incredible achievement recognises the creativity, dedication, and community spirit of more than 50 people supported by our charity, alongside our colleagues, families, and friends, who co-created and performed in the show at Aberdeen Arts Centre

We also proudly received the Best Sports Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Award at the 2025 Sports Business Awards, recognising our strategic efforts to embed inclusion in every layer of the UK sports system -from attendance and participation to workforce and governance -ensuring disabled people who draw on care and support are no longer the systemically excluded in sport.
