We Welcome New MD for Children & Young People

As part of our commitment to delivering our Best Lives, Bolder strategy, we’re continuing to invest in the areas where we can make the greatest and most lasting impact.

Earlier this year, we proudly welcomed Arc HD, a specialist provider of support for children and young people in Hampshire. This marked the charity’s first venture into this vital area of care – one that has now become a key strategic focus for our organisation.

To lead this important work, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Carl McCarthy as Managing Director for Children & Young People at Arc HD Services, part of Community Integrated Care.

Carl brings over two decades of experience in health and social care, most recently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at the Esland Care & Education Group, a national provider of specialist support and education for children and young people. His extensive background in leading both high-quality services and strategic growth will be instrumental as we expand our children’s services and deepen our impact in the years ahead.

Carl commented: “It’s an honour to join the team at a time when the charity is pursuing bold plans to ensure that many more young people receive the support they need, close to the people and communities they know.”

With Carl’s arrival, Annette McKeown, current CEO of Arc HD, will begin her much-deserved retirement in December.
