The stars of the Community Integrated Care Learning Disability Super League will be back in action this Saturday, at a special festival hosted by Wakefield Trinity.

Crigglestone All Blacks, Wakefield, WF4 3HN (1pm -3pm)

With Castleford Tigers, St Helens, Hull KR, Leeds Rhinos, Wakefield Trinity, Warrington Wolves, Wigan Warriors and York City Knights all featuring, the stage is set for another inspiring showcase of inclusive rugby league.

The Learning Disability Super League is part of a ground-breaking partnership between Super League, The RFL and the national social care charity, Community Integrated Care. Giving people with learning disabilities and autism the opportunity to play an adapted version of rugby league, as well as the opportunity to make friends, develop skills, and grow in confidence, the programme is changing lives.

Mark Adams, CEO of Community Integrated Care says: “It is incredible to see the continued growth of the Community Integrated Care Learning Disability Super League. I’m just a few short months, teams have come together to play in festivals across some of biggest rugby league towns in the UK. We can’t wait to see the players taking part at Wakefield Trinity and look forward to the further development of this inclusive sport.”
