Arts, Music and Culture
Community Integrated Care harnesses the power of creativity to empower people who draw on social care to live the Best Life Possible – and to inspire a more inclusive society.
Through arts, music, and cultural experiences, we promote health, happiness, and independence. Our work is delivered through:
- Our specialist in-house team – with deep experience in creative commissioning and community engagement
- Our subsidiary charity, Age Exchange – the UK’s leading intergenerational arts organisation
- Empowering and collaborating with our expert partners – from world-class artists to major cultural institutions
Creativity That Changes Lives
We understand how to deliver creative programming that changes lives and societal narratives. Our work includes:
- Major Event Collaborations
We’ve delivered inclusive arts programming for major events like the Rugby League World Cup and World Gymnastics Championships – empowering people to perform, create, and connect on a national stage. - Music and Heritage
We’ve worked with acclaimed songwriter Jim Duguid and National Museums Scotland to explore culture and identity through music and performance. - Photography and Identity
In partnership with Open Eye Gallery, we’ve co-produced powerful exhibitions on disability and caring – featured at Parliament and major public venues. - Live Creative Access
Through What-To-Do.co.uk, we’ve brought Broadway stars, Strictly dancers, and leading musical artists into social care – making world-class culture accessible to all.
- Campaigns for Change
We created nature-inspired arts packs for the Save Our Wild Isles campaign with WWF, National Trust, and RSPB—connecting creativity with environmental action. - Partnership Development
We offer training and support that uplifts and inspires organisations to connect with social care, like our work with University of Salford’s Socially Engaged Photography network. - Everyday Creativity, Extraordinary Impact
From media clubs and rap workshops to sensory art and DJ sets at Super League’s Magic Weekend, our Inclusive Volunteering model helps people discover their voice, build skills, and share their talents with the world.
Empowering the Creative in Every Person
We believe creativity is a universal right and a powerful catalyst for inclusion. Every project we deliver is designed to:
- Build skills, confidence, and independence
- Celebrate identity and lived experience
- Challenge prejudice and promote visibility
- Create pathways to learning, employment, and social mobility
From sensory art for people with profound disabilities to rap workshops and media clubs, we help people express themselves in ways that matter to them—and proudly showcase their work in galleries, on stage, and in the media.
