We’re Shortlisted for 16 Great British Care Awards
We’re delighted to announce that Community Integrated Care is shortlisted for 16 prestigious accolades at this year’s Great British Care Awards regional ceremonies.
Organised by Care Talk Magazine, the Great British Care Awards recognise excellence across the social care sector, awarding the most talented social care professionals working across the UK today. With regional awards ceremonies set to take place throughout November, we’re thrilled to share that several of our colleagues and teams have been shortlisted.
The 16 nominations recognise colleagues, teams and services from across Community Integrated Care, reflecting the charity’s commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support that enables people to live their best lives possible.
Among the nominations, Community Integrated Care has been shortlisted for the Care Employer Award in both the East Midlands and North East regions. The recognition highlights our charity’s dedicated efforts to provide outstanding support to people with care and support needs living across the country and our continued investment in colleagues, creating an environment where both can thrive.
Our charity’s ground-breaking digital platform, What To Do, has also been recognised, receiving a nomination for the Care Innovator Award alongside the charity’s Care To Cook programme. The platform provides people who draw on social care with access to engaging online experiences, empowering them to discover new passions, build friendship and connect with others across the What To Do community.
Reflecting on the charity’s success, Jim Kane, Chief Executive Officer for Community Integrated Care, said, “We are incredibly proud to see so many of our amazing colleagues, teams and services across the country named among the finalists at this year’s Great British Care Awards. These nominations reflect the passion, skill and commitment shown by our teams every day to deliver life-changing support. To be recognised across so many categories, including receiving two nominations for Care Employer is a fantastic achievement. We wish all of our finalists the very best of luck.”
