GROW: Learning Built for Social Care

GROW is our ground-breaking learning programme for frontline colleagues. Developed with input from specialist teams across the charity and the people we support, GROW reflects the true complexity of social care.

It’s flexible and practical, designed to fit around busy shifts. It covers the breadth of skills needed to support people to live rich, fulfilling lives – and it keeps evolving as the sector changes.

Best Learning & Development Initiative Award

GROW has also been recognised externally, winning the Best Learning & Development Initiative Award at the CIPD People Management Awards.

We were thrilled to see GROW recognised amongst a range of influential organisations being celebrated at the event, including Alzheimer’s Society, Royal Mail and EY.

We support colleagues to gain professional qualifications – fully funded and structured around their role. Whether you’re completing an SVQ, a Management and Leadership qualification, or working toward specialist credentials, we back you every step of the way.

Learn to LEAD: Your First Step into Leadership

Our Learn to LEAD programme is designed for Support Workers with leadership ambitions. It’s an intensive, hands-on coaching and training programme that equips aspiring Service Leaders with the skills, knowledge and self-belief to begin their leadership journey.

LEAD Next Level: Building Our Future Regional Managers

LEAD Next Level is designed for Service Leaders who are ready to take the next step. The programme develops the skills and competencies needed to become a Regional Manager, empowering the future leaders of our charity.

Faz's Story

In October 2024, Faz was named in the Care Show's prestigious Thirty Under 30 list - recognising the brightest young talent in UK social care.

After completing our Learn to LEAD programme in 2023, he stepped into a leadership role and now oversees a dedicated team delivering Complex Care.

LEAD: Developing Experienced Leaders

Our LEAD programme provides tailored development for operational managers, covering recruitment, service planning, quality improvement and more. It supports experienced leaders to strengthen their impact while enabling their teams to deliver consistent, high-quality care.
