Community Integrated Care Sponsors NAS Conference

Community Integrated Care is delighted to announce it is an official Gold Sponsor of this year’s National Autistic Society (NAS) Professional Conference and Awards.

Taking place on the 5th and 6th of March 2013 at the Harrogate International Centre, the annual NAS Professional Conference – the flagship autism conference in the UK – is a unique opportunity for senior professionals within the field to come together to discuss best practice and share learning.

National Autistic Society Professional Conference This year’s Conference themed ‘Celebrating Creativity and Innovation’ is based on an outstanding programme, featuring an impressive array of leading and international speakers. Delegates will have the opportunity to learn more about the changing autism environment, as well as the latest innovations, practical tools and strategies, aimed at raising the standards and increasing the effectiveness of services for people with autism.

As well as exhibiting at the Conference, Community Integrated Care will also be sharing its expertise by chairing the Adult Specialists Workstream, which will feature an informative range of expert seminars, delivered by professionals within the adult services arena.

An exciting new development for this year’s Conference is the introduction of the inaugural Autism Professionals Awards 2013 aimed at acknowledging the outstanding contributions and achievements of individuals, teams and organisations across the sector who have demonstrated excellence, dedication and commitment to improving the lives of people with autism. Community Integrated Care is pleased to be presenting The Award for Outstanding Adult Services.

Jane Worsley, Community Integrated Care’s Director of Operations and Deputy CEO, says: “We are really excited about becoming an official sponsor of this year’s NAS Conference and Awards. Autism is one of Community Integrated Care’s specialist areas and we support almost 200 people with needs across the Autism spectrum; so it is vital that we stay informed about what is happening in the field, as well as collaborate with other professionals to help us improve our services and achieve positive outcomes for the people we support.”
