Community Integrated Care is pleased to announce that it is exhibiting and presenting at The Alzheimer’s Show.
Taking place on the 19th and 20th April 2013, at The Royal Horticultural Halls, London, The Alzheimer’s Show is a national exhibition and conference, dedicated to dementia issues. It will be attended by individuals with dementia and their carers, friends and family, as well as dementia health and care professionals of all backgrounds.
Community Integrated Care will be sharing its expertise in dementia care at the event by delivering presentations and seminars, as well as exhibiting our innovative integrated dementia model, EachStep.
Sue McLean, Community Integrated Care’s Director of Quality and Standards, will be taking part in an expert panel at the event, as well as delivering a workshop presentation on Community Integrated Care’s dementia services. Alan Howells, Community Integrated Care’s Clinical Specialist, will be delivering a presentation on ‘managing challenging behaviour’ for people with dementia.
Sue McLean says: “Community Integrated Care are delighted to be exhibiting at The Alzheimer’s Show. Dementia is one of the most challenging issues that society faces, which is why an event that draws together people with the condition, their loved ones and care professionals is so needed. We are sure that this innovative conference will provide a fantastic opportunity for delegates to learn from one another and to find new solutions to the challenges ahead.”
